Bramble belongs to rosebush family, perennial deciduous
little bush fruit tree.
The bramble is the third generation of new-type fruit, the
fruit is aggregation fruit, tender and juicy, sour and sweet
and delicious and with unique fragrant smell. The bramble
contains 80% water, 5.58 - 10.67% sugar, 0.62 -
2.17%organic acid, 18-25 mg vitamin C , and vitamin A and B
,
besides eating raw, it can also be used to process into edible
products, such as fruit juice, jam, etc.
Bramble has such two species as redberry and blackberry. Redberry
fruits is red, scarlet, and on average the weight of
a single fruit is more than 5.5- 6.7g.
Blackberry fruit is purple and black, and on average a single
fruit weight is 6.5-8.6g, slightly heavier. Bramble is
mature early, during June-July bramble can be picked up fruit
and with s realatively longer storage period,
some species fruit each season and some species fruit in summer and autumn.
2. Right growing environment
It's suitable for bramble to grow in sand and clay soils
with good infiltration property, loose soil and
high fertile organic content , moist . The redberry is
resisted cold strongly, can be able to bear the low
temperature of - 25 degree, blackberry ph is worth 6- 7.5;
Black berry have ability to resist plant diseases and insect
pests strong, it is able to bear drought ,able to bear low
temperature minus 17 degree, soil ph does not exceed 8.0 .
The redberry is suitable for the north air and overflows the
relatively cold area to grow, the black berry is suitable
for Beijing area and areas of south to grow. The area of
severe cold it must buried under soil for protection in
winter.
3, main point of cultivation technique
(1)the way of plant it should plant it in the way of
south-north raw . The way of planting mainly has single one
to plant and with the banding to plant, the blackberry rely
mainly on the fact that single one is planted more, the
redberry rely mainly on planting in banding more. row
spacing of single one is 0.8 cm x 1.5 - 2.0 cm , each
mu plant about 540. Banding plant row spacing is 0.4-0.75m x
2-2.5m,2-3 year after imposing, it digs and go root tiller
